All you need to know about fusion hair extensions - also referred to as k-tip extensions, hot fusion extensions or keratin bond extensions.

Fusion hair extensions are a single strand method of permanent hair extension. A bundle of hair between .5 - 2 grams is pre-tipped with keratin glue. A heat gun, made specifically for this hair extension install is used to melt the glue to attach it to your natural hair. After a few seconds the glue dries, hardening the extension to your natural hair.
How Long is the Application and How Do You Remove Them?
A full head install can last up to 3 hours depending on the amount of hair you are adding. After about 15 weeks a solution is applied to the keratin bonds, this solution breaks down the glue so that the extension can be slipped out of your hair without any damage.
How Long Do They Last?
Fusion hair extensions are not a reusable hair extension method. They will last for up to 15 weeks before needing to be removed.
What Hair Types Are They Suitable For?
Fusion hair extensions are suitable for all hair types. The keratin bonds can be cut to customize the size of the bond based on your hair type and volume. Due to the ability to customize the size of the bond this method of hair extension is very attractive to those with fine hair types. The bond can be cut to a small size so that they are undetectable even in the finest of hair.
